Star trails and Spout Cave, Cederberg Mountains

Star trails rotate about the Southern Polar Axis of Rotation after rock climbers turn in for the night under the shelter of Spout Cave, in the rock buttress known as "The Spout". This buttress is part of the Tafelberg massif, Cederberg Mountains, Cederberg Wilderness, South Africa. 6-hour exposure. Nikon F4, 24/2.8D. Fuji RVP. December 1997.
