The picnic shelter, viewed through the golden autumn foliage of European Beech (Fagus sylvatica) - Tree #2. The picnic shelter is a 34 x 34-foot square timber structure with cross-gable roof, supported by four log corner posts, wood beams and trusses. Plans for the shelter were drawn in 1974 by R. George; accordingly, it is considered non-contributing to the park’s National Register of Historic Places listing. Mount Tabor Park, Portland, Oregon, USA.
