Autumn Leaves in Mount Tabor Park, Portland, Oregon

The beautiful red and yellow leaves that fall from deciduous trees are a splendid sign of Autumn. Located on an extinct volcanic cinder cone, and designed in 1909 by Frederick Law Olmsted and John Charles Olmsted, this urban park celebrates its centennial in 2009/2010, at a time when the future of the beloved open water reservoirs within the park is threatened by new EPA regulations.
