Buttress Runnels (2008), by artist Susan A. Point - concrete relief sculpted to channel roof runoff from the 6.5-acre roof to the Riverside Plaza and adjacent rainwater reuse pond. The Salish design is inspired by cultural and environmental history of Richmond and the Fraser River. The Richmond Olympic Oval was the long track speed skating rink for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
